Hello, I'm Kate
And I find myself in a career I never expected. Astrology was a bit of an eye-roll for me.

I look back – was I intimidated?
Enter a phase in life when I felt disconnected and unsure -- but curious.
A friend dangled the carrot of astrology and told me about a mini-course she was taking. I signed up to learn the basics of chart reading and quickly understood that this astrology stuff held relevance.

My rough edges made sense.
My soul had a plan.

I had tapped into a deeper current of self-discovery.

My Story
Fast forward half a decade and I have completed a Master of Evolutionary Astrology Certification with the Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology.
Astrology has strengthened the bond of my marriage, made me a better friend, and shifted my parenting to reflect the distinct natures of my two children.

I have been a yoga teacher most of my adult life and owned two yoga studios – always with the intention of helping others. Now, as an astrologer, I revel in the down-to-earth and intimate support I can offer clients as their soul’s cosmic translator.

I have had the honor thus far in my lifetime of:
-
being a daguerreotypist through the guidance of Jerry Spagnoli
-
experiencing life as a biodynamic beekeeper under the tutelage of the outstanding Gunther Hauk of Spikenard Farm and Honeybee Sanctuary
-
writing a novel about mermaids (BRINE is the title -- and get this, I have Neptune conjunct my Midheaven)
-
attending numerous trainings with the wise Peter Holmes of Snow Lotus Aromatherapy revolving around the use of essential oils within a context of Chinese Medicine theory
-
studying the ancient teachings of yoga and other metaphysical arts across the globe
-
becoming a mother at age 40 and then "again" at age 46
-
dissecting multiple cadavers with the great Gil Hedley
-
logging hundreds of hours with beloved yogi masters like Erich Schiffmann and Paul Grilley
-
teaching Yin Yoga, which I find truly immerses me in the deepest current
-
plunging myself into the evolutionary potential of a cosmic relationship with my husband
